Integrated into the Nano Cube 6's hood is an 18 watt 50/50 compact fluorescent light fixture with fan cooling and electronic ballast. This provides a total of 3 watts per gallon, which is enough light for corals such as mushrooms, zoanthid polyps, star polyps, and others that can thrive under lower-light conditions.
